You can take advantage of your stay at Les 3 Barbus to explore the unspoiled nature of the national park on foot or by bike, thanks to the many hiking trails offered by the region. One of the most remarkable of all is that of the "Corniche des Cévennes" which will give you access to an exceptional view of the Cévennes and the central massif, in particular. During your stay, take advantage of the proximity to the Gardon river to discover the gorges of the river and the small canyons of our Cévennes.

Anduze and his little steam train

The picturesque village of Anduze, called the Porte des Cévennes, is located just 5 km from our hotel. This charming town of character is to be discovered. It is home to many historic monuments that will delight history and heritage buffs: the Clock Tower, the Protestant Temple and the Pezene Tower. Stroll through its cobbled streets to meet local artisans. Departing from Anduze station, the little Cévennes steam train begins its journey through green countryside. For an original experience, take a ride on this train towards the Bambouseraie and Saint-Jean-du-Gard.

Maison Rouge, a place carrying the silky Cévennes memory

this spinning mill frames the entire history of French silk spinning. It is on this site that the first industrial spinning mill in France was set up using the famous Gensoul process. In January 1965, Maison Rouge closed its doors definitively and with it disappeared the last French silk mill.
Maison Rouge is reborn from its ashes half a century later to today house the collections of the Cévennes Valley Museum. The rhythmic museography successively offers libraries and cabinets of curiosities, beautiful richly composed display cases, staging or objects placed in alcoves.
